Elation! “Sid the Kid” sends Toronto to its streets

Moments after Sidney Crosby scored the game-winning goal in overtime of the Men’s Olympic Ice Hockey gold medal game, the people of Toronto poured into the streets to celebrate. The mood was truly electric.

With automobile traffic blocked off, some people found crowd surfing to be an excellent mode of transit. Yonge & Dundas Square.
